Message from the School Nurse's Office
As the flu continues to circulate in the community and may persist into the spring, it remains beneficial for those who have not yet received their flu shot to do so now. Getting vaccinated can provide important protection against the flu, helping to reduce the severity of illness and the spread of the virus. Please continue to practice good hand hygiene, which includes regular hand washing and use of hand sanitizers, especially after touching shared surfaces or using tissues. Contact the School Nurse with any questions.

Carnations and Candy on Sale This Week!
The Student Government Association (SGA) will be selling carnations and candy through Friday, February 7th to share your love with your friends. For $2.00, all students can purchase a carnation or candy for other community members during lunches as well as before and after school in the Main Office. All purchased items will be handed out to the noted person next Thursday, February 13th during Advisory. Questions? Contact Mrs. Miller.

"Red Out" Spirit Night
Middle School students are invited to support the Middle School boys and girls basketball teams as they finish out the season next Tuesday, February 11th at 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the Gym. These games will be an opportunity for students to show their School pride, so Middle School students should plan to wear all red to the games.

Middle School students will receive a hotdog and bottled water prior to the start of the first game. Additional snacks will be available for purchase during the games. Students will also have the opportunity to compete in activities during half-time and in between quarters of the basketball games where students can win prizes. Advanced sign-ups will be required for students to participate in the activities. Sign-up sheets are available on the bulletin board outside Mr. Miller's office in the Middle School building.

All students should be picked up by the end of the last basketball game at 6:15 p.m. from the gym. Families should complete the permission form by Friday, February 7th, for their student to participate. Please contact Mrs. Calheira with any questions. We look forward to your student joining us!
