Stanford and Pre-ACT Testing

Note: Change to the school calendar on Thursday, April 11 – 12:15 p.m. dismissal
Middle School Stanford Testing and Grades 8 and 10 Pre-ACT Testing
 
Dear Concordia Prep Parents and Guardians,
 
I am alerting you to changes in the school calendar for Thursday, April 11, and information about the Stanford 10 test for grades 6 and 7 and the Pre-ACT test for grades 8 and 10. On Tuesday, April 9, grades 6 and 7 will take the Stanford test in the morning, followed by their regularly scheduled classes. Grades 8 through 12 will have a regular school day. It is a full day of school for all grades.
 
Thursday, April 11 will be a 12:15 p.m. dismissal for the students taking tests. Grades 9, 11, and 12 will have an asynchronous learning day. Buses will depart at 12:30 p.m. and there is no EDP on April 11.
 
Grades 6 and 7 Testing – Tuesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 11, 2024
Middle School students in grades 6 and 7 will take the Stanford 10 Achievement Tests on Tuesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 11. Testing is in the morning on both dates so please avoid scheduling appointments during these dates and times. There is no make-up test date.
 
Students will use the following for the Stanford 10:
  • 2 sharpened no. 2 pencils with erasers
  • Battery-operated handheld calculator for the math test is optional* 
*Concordia Prep will not supply calculators for tests. Students may not use electrical outlets for calculators.
 
Students in the Giguere Program will test with Mrs. Welbourn on both days.
 
Water and food may not be consumed during testing. Students will have short breaks during the testing block for snacks.
 
Grades 8 and 10 Testing on Thursday, April 11
  • Grades 8 and 10 will take the pre-ACT in person, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Students will be dismissed from school at 12:15 p.m. 
  • Grades 9, 11, and 12 will not be on campus and will have asynchronous learning assignments that day. Teachers will communicate with students what the assignment is for the day.
