CPS had hoped to return to its hybrid model next Monday, December 14th, however based upon the latest numbers we have decided to continue Virtual School through Tuesday, December 22, 2020 – the last day before we leave for the Christmas holidays. We have made this decision based upon the most recent guidance given to schools on November 13, 2020, (COVID-19 Guidance for Maryland Schools).

The Maryland Department of Health and Maryland State Department of Education recommends limited or no in-person instruction with a testing positivity rate that exceeds 5% or with a new case rate that exceeds 15 cases per 100,000. Today’s statistics have Baltimore County at a positivity rate of 7.5% and over 30 cases per 100,000.

If you have any questions regarding our COVID response, our team will host a Town Hall for parents and guardians on Wednesday, December 9 at 7:45 am.
